Flow requests

Ask an author to make the flow you need, paid on delivery.

Can't find the flow you need in the Flow library? Ask for one. You set a reward, authors send offers, you pick one, and you pay only when the flow is delivered.

Find the board in the Flow library, on the Requests tab, or on the public request board.

Public or private

When you post, you choose who gets the result.

  • Public: the finished flow is listed free in the Flow library for everyone. You fund it, everyone can install it.
  • Private: only you can run it. It is sealed, like a paid flow: the author keeps the blocks and can ship updates, and you run it on your clients without seeing inside.

The reward is held, not spent

Posting holds the reward from your balance. Held coins are not gone:

  • Cancel any time before you choose an author and every coin goes back, to the same buckets it came from.
  • If nobody is chosen before the request closes, it is refunded automatically.
  • The Coins page shows what is currently held for your requests.

Choosing an author

Authors send an offer with a short pitch, a price and how many days they need. An author may ask for more or less than your reward:

  • More: choosing them holds the difference from your balance.
  • Less: choosing them gives the difference back.

Once you choose, the author has a set number of days to deliver. If they miss it, or step back, the request opens again for other authors and your coins stay held.

To send an offer you need at least one flow already listed in the Flow library.

Delivery, testing and paying

When the author delivers, the flow is checked the same way as any Flow library listing. Once it passes:

  • A private flow appears in your flows as a licensed flow. Equip it on a client and try it.
  • Accept and pay settles the request. If you do nothing, it is accepted automatically after a few days.
  • Dispute if it does not do what you asked. That opens the normal dispute: the author can refund you or reply, and a silent author means an automatic refund.

After you accept, the author's share is held for a short period before it reaches their earned coins, the same as any Flow library sale, so a dispute is still possible during that time.

Reporting

Use Report on any request that asks for something harmful, such as stealing other players' passwords. Staff can remove it, and removal refunds the requester.
