Quickstart
A client online in five minutes.
Four steps: add an account, create a client, start it, watch it connect. Automation comes after.
1. Add an account
On the Clients page (Crew in the navigation), open Accounts and press Add account.
- Offline-mode or private server? Add an offline-mode account, which is just a username.
- Online-mode server? Add a premium account; you will enter a code on the account provider's sign-in page.
Not sure which? Adding an account has the answer, and the symptom that tells you when you picked wrong.
2. Create a client
Back in the Crew section, press New client. You need four things:
| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Name | anything you will recognise |
| Account | the account from step 1 |
| Server host | e.g. play.example.com |
| Port | 25565 unless the server says otherwise |
Leave Game version on auto and skip everything under Advanced options for now.
Before you launch, the form says whether your plan has a free slot for this client. The slot is the whole cost of running it: no hourly rate, no charge per action, and nothing taken from your coin balance.
No plan? The client runs on your Android phone instead: install the CubeMind app, sign in with the same account and start it there. See linking your phone.
3. Start it
Press Start on the row. It goes starting → connecting → online.
If it does not, starting and stopping lists every reason a start is refused. The common ones are no free plan slot, no account, or an unsupported version.
4. Watch it
Open the client to see its Console: chat, system lines and errors, live, plus vitals (health, food, position) while it is online.
Type in the box at the bottom to talk as the client, or start with / to run a command. That is
the quickest way to check what a server accepts.
At this point you have a client that stays online and holds its player slot. Many people stop here.
Next: make it do something
A flow is the automation. Two worth adding immediately:
Log in automatically, if the server has a login plugin:
Save the password once in the client's Variables panel, tagged secret. The flow only ever holds the token.
Stay connected through restarts: auto-reconnect is on by default and needs no flow. See staying online.
Build these in the editor, tick the flow on your client, and save. Flows can be attached and changed while the client is running.
Or skip the building: the Flow library has ready-made ones you can import.
Where to go next
- How flows work: the two rules that catch everyone out.
- Recipes: three complete flows to copy.
- How coins work: what coins buy, and what they do not.
