Linking your phone
Install the app, sign in, and start your client from the phone.
A phone client runs from the CubeMind app, so the phone has to be signed in to your account.
- Install the CubeMind app on your Android phone from Google Play and sign in with the same account. The app links the phone to your account by itself (This phone is linked); there is nothing to pair.
- Create a client as usual, on the Clients page. On the free tier every new client runs on your phone; on a plan, tick Run on this phone in the app.
- Press Start. The console shows it connecting, exactly as a cloud client does.
A phone client runs only on a phone signed in to its owner's account. From a browser or another device you can watch it, read its console and press Start while the phone is online. While the phone is offline, or no phone is linked yet, Start is disabled and says why: open CubeMind on the phone and the client starts there.
On the Overview, the phone client's card shows a status light, its latest console lines, Stop and Open console, and your quick commands.
An account can link a limited number of phones. Linking another when you are at the limit replaces your oldest phone that is offline.
If the client does not start, open the app, check that it is signed in, and check that the phone is online.
